super cute favours

Here is a video showing how to make some lovely little favours to delight your guests.  With the outbreak of pound shops glassware is available pretty cheaply these days so I reckon buying these would still work out cheaper than buying from a professional favours company!  Also glass paints are pretty cheap on ebay so why why not personalise each glass?  It is pretty simple if you pop a picture or some text inside the glass and simply trace it on the outside.  Every guest will have alovely, personalised and functional reminder of the day.

DIY bouquet

Fancy a bit of DIY?  We all know how expensive wedding flowers can be - here are a couple of tutorials to help you, should you fancy giving it a go yourself...
Just a personal tip - I made my own bouquets from artificial flowers - now granted not everybody likes the fake flowers but for me personally they were perfect.  Not only did they look real, they were much more manageable and can be twisted and taped more securely, but the best bit - they are still sitting in a vase in my living room 12 years later and still looking fab!!!
Give it a try it's not as hard as it looks, trust me :)

Here are a few tutorials on how to get that perfect make up on the big day.  Just a tip - on my wedding day I did my own make up and looked fab but my bridesmaid had hers done by  a beautician and she looked awful!  If you can master it yourself - do it yourself!

Save a fortune by doing this beautiful hairstyle yourself (or even better get a friend to do it).  It looks absolutely stunning yet is so simple.  Imagine how cute this would look on little bridesmaids perhaps with some tiny jewels or flowers dotted into the bow?  ..... Beautiful !

So, I was asked the other day - what would a bride wear for a steampunk style wedding..Well I think these dresses are perfect and so beautiful and flattering, that I would consider one whether my wedding was steampunk or not!
